Allegheny Co., PA
It started, as most good stories do... with a goat. And before you know it, there was another goat, and then another.
Then, with all those goats, it quickly became about milk. And then happily, cheese. They became students of cheese and met wonderful, generous cheesemakers across the country. The more they learned, the more they wanted to learn.
That’s when it became clear that they found a calling, and began work on their creamery. By the time the creamery was completed, they had a happy herd of goats and some cheery neighboring cows all delighted to provide what would become the fruits of their labors, Goat Rodeo Cheeses.
From fresh chèvre to interesting aged cheeses, they're creating some of the region’s finest cheeses from goat milk, cow milk, and a delicious blend of both.
A part of Goat Rodeo’s mission is promoting Western Pennsylvania agriculture. They're proud to manage their 130 acres without the use of any herbicides or pesticides, allowing for lots of tasty, nutritious pasture for their herd of goats.

Goat Rodeo Farm & Dairy is a 130-acre, family owned and operated farm located in the rolling hills of Northern Allegheny County. They have a herd of over 100 purebred Alpine, Nubian, and LaMancha goats with year round access to pasture. At the center of the farm is this motto: happy, healthy animals produce the best milk - and the best milk makes the most delicious cheese. In addition to milk from their herd, they source fresh, high quality cow’s and goat’s milk from partnering small farms in the region to make award-winning cheeses using traditional techniques.
